The first reason I buy from CES is that I believe that CES has always been very fair and patient with us and that CES has always tried hard to meet all our requirements, no matter what I have requested, often with very little notice and very little budget.

Secondly, I know that when a problem occurs, not necessarily with a piece of kit that you have provided, I can say with confidence to my staff to call CES and get it sorted and I don’t really have to worry after that call has been made.

Lastly but not least I buy on price, I can honestly say that if I have to part with my money, it’s much less painful if you are giving it to somebody you like, who you know works hard for it! The only time price becomes the first issue is when we have a strict budget or the gap between the two prices is just too large to ignore.

The point of difference I think that makes us want to deal with CES is that their professionalism gives an air of comfort and reassurance, CES provides value for money and have the ability to make us feel relaxed in the knowledge that once the call is made we can consider it to be done. I would struggle to find two things for CES to improve upon or change because as a customer we have never, to my knowledge, ever been let down.

The two things that annoy me the most in this industry, when purchasing equipment, are poor customer service and excessive service charging for poor service. With CES, customer service is never a problem, as mentioned above, we have never been let down and their call-out charges are fair. Quite often, we purchase fairly standard products from a broad price spectrum and specifications, so a good understanding of the equipment and its applications along with the ability to communicate this to us as a customer is what gives us the confidence to buy, rather than, being sold the biggest, most expensive equipment. We want to feel like an important customer and not just a sale and CES do just that.
